Steve Jobs was born in San Francisco on February 24, 1955, to two graduate students who gave him up for adoption.

In 1971 he met his future partner Steve Wozniak and started to experiment with different pursuits before starting Apple Computers.

First Apple computers were sold for 666.66 each and earned the corporation around $774,000 in total. In 1980, Apple Computer had a market value of $1.2 billion.

After departure from Apple in 1985 he founded NeXT and animation studios Pixar. In 1996 NeXT was acquired by Apple and Steve was back in the game. He returned to his post as Apple's CEO following year.

With a new management Steve put Apple back on track and invented most popular products in history like iPod, iPhone or iPad.

On October 5, 2011, Apple announced that its co-founder had passed away. Steve Jobs died in Palo Alto. He was 56 years old.
