All the world has gone crazy for Pokémon GO. The game of hunting and collecting Pokémons got huge basically overnight.
Every minute the app earns what you don’t make in a year and that same minute over 5000 new people download the game.
So how did the Pokémania start?
Pokémon creator Satoshi Tajiri always liked to run around his suburban Tokyo neighborhood and collect different species of insects.
Years later, in the early 1990s, his childhood passion inspired him to create Pocket Monsters - Poketto Monsutā in Japanese.
To put a bit of his own personality into Pokémon, Satoshi Tajiri created a powerful main character Ash Ketchum (“Satoshi” in Japan), who quickly became a hero for many kids and adults around the world.
By the way, did you know that the English equivalent of the name is a pun referring to the motto of the series "Gotta catch 'em all!”?
Pokémon GO is the newest addition to the Pokémon family. So far, it's been the most successful smartphone game ever.
With Pokémon Go, you can turn into Ash (pun intended) and catch and train your own Pokémons.
Some people are so committed to the game they made it their full-time job. You might be surprised but there are actually many ways to earn money with Pokémon Go.
Are you a Pokémon fan but you're just too busy looking for a normal job? Create an outstanding resume and cover letter in Kickresume and get a job of your dreams.
In the meantime, check how Ash Ketchum's resume would look like if there were any job postings in the Pokémon world.
But please don't get too inspired. Ash Ketchum is the only one who can list 'Pokémon training' in his work experience section. :)
