Whether you’re a student figuring out your career path or a seasoned worker seeking a new direction, you probably found yourself googling: “How to become a …”.

Changing jobs has become fairly common these days. And it looks like a lot of employees are feeling the itch to make that change this year. According to a recent survey, an incredible 52 percent of American workers are thinking about switching jobs. And what’s more, an impressive 44 percent have already made solid plans to do just that.

So what are the most desired jobs across the world? Google knows it and now we do, too. Based on the yearly search traffic (between October 2021 and October 2022) for phrases associated with a career search, Remitly created a list of dream jobs in each country.

Nearly one million Google searches (930,630) simply show that being a pilot is the ultimate job wish. It topped rankings in 25 countries, including the United States, Canada and England.

And given the thrill and prestige associated with this profession (besides its median monthly salary of $202,180), it's just no surprise that the idea of becoming a pilot continues to captivate the minds of many.
